In June of 2001, the Shawntays got
together in Las Vegas, Nevada. These pages show the good times they had there.
The street sign for Wornom Ave and
Barling Street, is from the old neighborhood, Marion and Kathie lived on Wornom Ave,
Stevi, Kim, and Linda lived around the corner on Barling.
Kim moved to Greenville, South
Carolina in the 10th grade, so she never knew the joy of being a Shawntay. Marion,
Stevi, Kathie and I decided Kim had suffered long enough. I had an official Shawntay
sweatshirt made for her, and while at the Luxor we had a ceremony, (mostly involving
French Champagne, candies, and hysterical laughter).
Now Kim is a Shawntay, a dream come
true, I'm sure.
